Sharing Your Brilliance: Communicating Science to Non-Scientists

How can scientists communicate their research to a wider audience?

This workshop will give trainees in the Faculty of Medicine a chance to explore why you should seek broader exposure of your work and provide some principles for doing so effectively. The workshop will also include some interactive exercises with on-the-spot critiques.

This workshop will be led by Brian Kladko, a Communications Manager in the UBC Faculty of Medicine, focusing on public relations.

Time: 1:00-2:00PM
Date: December 7, 2016
